Election Timeline

There is lots happening over election time!

These are all the key dates that you need to know about ...

If you want to lead the change and put yourself forward to represent 25,000+ students, stand for election for one of the 6 Full-Time or 10 Part-Time Student Officer positions.

Make sure you submit your nomination form, equality monitoring form (Full-Time positions only) and all of your publicity and election materials (Full-Time positions only) to the Student Voice Team (on behalf of the Returning Officer). You can do all of this electronically by following our Stand for Election guidence.

Nominations for all positions close on Wed 5 Feb, 5pm.

Book a short, confidential, one-to-one session with one of our Student Voice Team.

You can find out more about the roles and/or talk about your manifesto plans.

You can ask for background information and any facts and figures that we have to hand. It will help you prepare a great manifesto and be ready for the Candidate Question Time!

They can also answer/signpost any relevant questions you may have about:

  • completing your studies if you are a PGT student
  • your visa if you are an international student
  • any support you may need if you are a disabled student
