#TheFullMonty - Vote for me and I will give it my all.
I am a final year PhD student in Mathematics.
Tackling failing Mental Health support is very important to me and I'll work hard to improve services, especially for PG students.
I want to be visible across campus - not just the Grad School.
I will listen to student views and lobby to improve the PG experience for everyone including disabled and international students.
If elected I pledge to:
- Focus on improving PG Mental Health to reduce PG burnout.
- Work for greater PG awareness and engagement in SU activities/events.
- Lobby for committee roles in clubs & socs to count towards PG training days.
- Increase support for Undergrads in order to ease the transition into PG studies.
- Clearer guidelines and processes for all supervisory experiences, by establishing a new policy for best practice.
- Create an open forum for the PG community to provide Peer Support and advice.
- Higher visibility of PG Officer role throughout the campus.
- More drop-in sessions at various times, including evenings, so that those outside of standard hours can avail of help more easily.
- Multilingual signage throughout Graduate School to help students from all walks of life feel welcome.
#TheFullMonty - I will give it my all and work for you
