Hi! My name is Ash, my pronouns are he/it, and I'm running to be your Disabled Students' Association Chairperson.
I have a myriad of different physical disabilities which affect my mobility and energy and am also neurodivergent.
As a second year disabled student, I am well aware of the struggles faced by disabled students within the university and want to advocate for our rights and needs. I aim to make our voice heard within the SU and push for better accessibility within Queens, both the campus and as an academic institution; access requirements should be a given, not something which necessitates being repeatedly fought for.
Disabled people deserve to have our needs listened to!
