Your voice matters, let it be heard. Together, we can make our school the best it can be. Elect me as your voice, and let's make history for EEECS!

Hey, my name is Kristaps.

I am the current course representative for 23/24, I am now nominating myself to be the next School Representative for 24/25. This will be a big milestone for me, to further represent the student body in EEECS and for my personal development for the future.

Having your say is one of my priorities.
These are the meetings where feedback collected from Course Representatives is discussed with the EEECS administration so that it can be passed on and acted upon. I would dedicate most of my time as a school rep to ensure student satisfaction with teaching and facilities.

Continuing a robust SVC structure is crucial.
The current school rep for 23/24 has built up a proper SVC structure, bringing in more feedback responses from students for improvements. This includes promoting lecturers to share surveys a few times throughout the semester and acknowledging feedback to the class. I hope to take his place and continue this for the next year.

Student Engagement is essential.
Talking and engaging with people are primary ways of understanding what they enjoy and dislike about their course. Ensuring that students understand that the assigned module reps should be the first point of contact for long-term issues with study, module reps can pass this information on to SVC meetings. Furthermore, having someone to promote better awareness of existing events/resources for students can have a beneficial effect not only on the students but also the university.
