Students voices need to be heard and its the Union's role to support you in your studies!

As the AHSS Rep I will work towards strengthening the discussion between students and the Union. I plan to work in the interests of all AHSS Students and create an open door for students to have their wishes heard.
Over the past year I have been active in the Student’s Union through elections, Student Council and in societies. Through this involvement I’ve gathered a good insight into how change happens within the SU, and I have confidence I can make positive change on your behalf! A vote for me is an accountable vote.
Some issues students have raised, and I plan to address are in:
- Inconsistent access to lecture material and readings (as well as recordings)
- Improvement of social life within courses and organisation of course specific events
- Better lines of communication for students to raise issues and gather opinion.
- Deadline date dispersion instead of current concentration of deadlines.
- More accessible and improvement of disability supports and service.
- Better communication between school and student considering strikes and academic decisions.
