"Bridge the Gap: Connect, Advocate, Lead!"

Dear colleagues and fellow scholars,

As a Queen's Business School PhD researcher, I stand before you today as a candidate for the Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences (AHSS) Postgraduate Research Faculty Representative position, committed to the core principles of "Bridge the Gap: Connect, Advocate, Lead!"

Connect: I pledge to foster a sense of unity and collaboration within our diverse academic community. I will facilitate open communication channels, ensuring your voices are heard and respected. We will bridge the gap between students and faculty, forming a more robust, interconnected AHSS Postgraduate Research division.

Advocate: I will be your unwavering advocate, dedicated to addressing your concerns and championing your aspirations. With a clear focus on your needs, I will work diligently to influence policies and decisions that directly impact your academic journey. Your success is my mission.

Lead: Leadership requires action, and I am committed to taking the lead in driving positive change. I will propel our division forward through innovative initiatives, ensuring we remain at the forefront of academic excellence. I will lead by example, inspiring others to follow suit and contribute to our shared vision.

I humbly ask for your trust and support in this journey. We will bridge the gap by connecting our academic community, advocating for your interests, and leading the AHSS Postgraduate Research facility to greater heights. Let us seize this opportunity to make our voices heard and our division stronger.

Together, we will construct a more promising future for the AHSS Postgraduate Research division at Queen's University of Belfast.

Thank you for considering my candidacy.

Yours sincerely,

Hrick Das.
