Putting a plan in action to assure your satisfaction
Hey!
I am Suhani Abrol, born and brought up in India currently pursuing Masters in International Business Law.
If I had to describe myself I would say that I love communicating with others and I highly enjoy meeting new people, I'm a people's person. If you haven’t had an interaction with me yet, we shall have one soon for you to judge for yourself that I am an easy person to be around and communicate all your thoughts and problems. Being a post graduate student I believe it is essential for masters’ students to benefit from their university experience beyond merely receiving a qualification at the end of their program.
Voting for me is a great opportunity for you to get your voice heard, a direct input for your thoughts and ideas. I am here to listen to you guys and I assure you that I am able to take the responsibility and make a positive change. One of my aims is to increase overall transparency between us students and higher staff. This will ensure effective communication between both parties, and allow you - the students, to raise any issues or contribute towards the growth of the university as a whole.
In my role as the Postgraduate Taught Officer, I will make sure:
- Create more networking events – as a postgraduate student, networking is crucial to secure a place in the work market once the course is finished. I will create more events where postgraduate students can meet up with each other, experts and Professionals in the industry to establish new relationships.
- Find ways to support postgraduate students in their academic development while looking to expand the resources to do so.
- Create an open communication channel between the students and the academic body, providing adequate representation for postgraduate students.
- Co-operate with other course representatives to improve the academic experience for postgraduate students.
I will make sure your needs are my priority, by always listening to your concerns and making sure every voice is heard.
Your course, your voice, your vote, your choice.
