LET'S CAUSE A REACTION...! I might not be a chemist but I definitely make things react...! Oxygen, hydrogen, sulfur, sodium & phosphorus walk into a bar - "OH SNaP!"

What should you do if no one laughs at your chemistry jokes??? Keep telling them until you get a reaction...!!!

I was School Rep for Biological Sciences in 2019, but my time was cut short thanks to personal issues and covid, so now I've moved onto a new course I am looking to take back the role of School Rep and push even harder to make things change within the university. I want to take on this role again as I want to put my skills, charisma, charm, and passions into something that draws action - and continue with my good intentions to make things better for all students across the board. Thanks to being on so many different QUBSU committees and groups I can fully grasp what QUB are saying they will do, but clearly see how their lack of commitment fails students. LET'S CHANGE THAT.

I am beyond committed to push QUB to become better & live up to it's responsibility as Belfast's biggest landowner = MORE MUST BE DONE...!

Let's stop the use of jargon & spin - Let's prove that students voices MUST be heard - Let's make positive changes for us now & for future students. After all, aren't we learning to become leaders?

Key motivations:

Better communication between the school and students.

Better training / development options for mature students looking for professionally accredited courses/qualifications.

Make the university listen to their clients (students) rather than focusing on their external investor’s wishes.

Grow a network of conscientious students that want to do more than just what's in their timetabled programme.

Work with lecturers to change the course content to match what students hope to achieve (that's a tough one).
