Let's stop the jargon & spin - Let's prove that students voices MUST be heard - Let's make positive changes for us ALL & for future students. After all, aren't we learning to become leaders? Let's lead the charge!

Having studied Leadership for Sustainability, I am now doing 3xPG courses that are based on eco-architectural / environmental / sustainable development. I want to take on this role as I want to put my skills, charisma, charm, and passions into something that draws action. I took part in ALL Queen's Environmental Leadership courses, leadership courses, environmental programmes and was a key member of the Environmental & Ethical Committee (2019-2021), so I can fully grasp what QUB is saying but clearly see how their lack of commitment fails students. LET'S CHANGE THAT.

I am beyond committed to push QUB to become better & live up to the responsibility of being Belfast's biggest landowner = MORE MUST BE DONE...!

Let's stop the use of jargon & spin - Let's prove that students voices MUST be heard - Let's make positive changes for us now & for future students. After all, aren't we learning to become leaders?

Key motivations:

Better / more sustainable food resources used within ALL campus canteens/cafe's

Better / more sustainable use of facilities around campus; including better room booking

Changing the toilet facilities - more sustainable / environmentally friendly products (soaps, toilet paper etc)

Reduce period poverty for students - campus wide

Better discounts for students using reusable cups across campus

Better food choices in vending machines

Better fabric choices for all QUB branded clothing items

Campaigns

- Let's work together and reduce the price of coffee and snacks for students - let's stop these private companies having a monopoly on what students can choose from and making so much money of us (especially when their prices are cheaper in their shops that are focused on the public)

- Better food choices at ALL meetings: We are at a university that teaches students about the importance of good food - no more stodgy horrible dominos, bring on the nice and tasty food.
