Green is good. A vote for Dariya is a vote for a greener campus!
I come to the stand with great ideas and if elected, below are some of the many things I hope to achieve;
1) Conduct "Giving Back" days where students can volunteer in the community at food shelters and conducting Christmas and Easter Food and Clothing drives
2) Start an annual end of the year "Clothes and Stuff" sale where students can bring items that they would otherwise dispose of after moving out of an apartment or residence, and other people can buy those items (clothes, room decor etc) and give those items another use or simply donate lightly used items to charity and those in need
3) Have more recycling and compost options on campus, because some spots like the library only have paper recycling and no plastic recycling! We want to do our best to save our earth and produce less trash!
