A Voice for Clubs and Societies! A Voice for Student Opportunities!
I'm standing for the Student Union Council to give representation to the Sport Clubs and Student Societies that play a key role within our university and to help deliver the best possible student experience .
Having been captain of the Fencing Club at Queen's since August last year, I am well placed to help advise the SU on the way clubs are managed and the challenges we face in helping deliver the essential student experience for everyone at Queen's. Additionally, I am also an active member in several other societies on campus and I know the improtance of societies to enjoying a broad, well-rounded experience at Queen's. This dual perspective means that I am able to view clubs and societies from both the point of delivery and the point of enjoyment, helping to best engage with how the SU can support the student communities that play such a key role within our university.
As we emerge out of the COVID-19 Pandemic, it is more important than ever to ensure our clubs and societies have the resources and support they need. Only with this support can they continue to offer amazing opportunities effectively and safely.
