This is the time where we need to be heard more than ever. Vote for me if you want to be heard and get real solutions for issues of any kind. Vote for online textbooks and free printing. Oh, and a cute puppy too hopefully!
1. TEXTBOOKS.
On top of tuition fees, students are made to spend 100s on textbooks, as most of the ones required are of the latest editions. I will lobby for core textbooks to be made available as online copies in the library (whichever edition is needed for the year).
2. PRINTING.
As students, we are all bound to have a lot of materials that need to be printed. I will therefore persuade the School to offer free printing in the building exclusively for those under the School of Law, to print course related materials.
3. MENTAL HEALTH.
With rigourous vaccinations going on, normality is seemingly closer. However, students' mental health would be just as important even when classes are physical. I will appeal to the School to adopt a puppy and allow students to bring the school's puppy on unsupervised walks in the nearby Botanic Gardens.
