We are the Queen’s University of Belfast Science Fiction and Fantasy Society! We are here to promote Science Fiction and Fantasy throughout the student and staff population at Queen’s. We try to do this by: • Stimulating interest in Science Fiction and Fantasy • Providing a forum for debate and discussion on related media such as movies, comic books, novels and games- we also hold Litnights every week, where we have an ongoing book club where we discuss a different author each week • Creating a friendly environment where people may openly enjoy and critique the Science Fiction and Fantasy genres in a social setting • Facilitating a regularly updated library of novels, comics and manga for our members to borrow from • Hosting board/card game and pizza nights • Organising society trips to movie showings and related events • Running Sci-Fi and Fantasy themed quizzes throughout the year

Every year, Student Leaders are elected to represent the 25,000 students at Queen’s and to lead the Union. There are 34 roles available: 6 Full-Time Student Officers; 3 Undergraduate Faculty Representatives; 10 Student Association Chairpersons; and 15 Undergraduate School Representatives.
