About

Looking for the Women's Club? Just click here.

Queen's University Belfast Rugby Football Club (QUBRFC) is one of the oldest rugby clubs in Ireland, celebrating its 150th Anniversary in 2019. The club has an excellent history having won the Ulster Senior Cup 21 times and produced no fewer than 16 British and Irish Lions Players.

We are looking for new players of all abilities to get involved and join Queen's Rugby. The rugby club has an exceptional reputation and has 5 teams to suit all levels, whether you want to play social rugby or play at one of the highest levels in Ireland (detailed below). The club provides professional coaching and top-level training facilities, ensuring all players will reach their full potential. QUBRFC is devoted to creating a fun and social atmosphere at training, to ensure that players immediately feel part of the Queen's Rugby family.

The club also offers a great social scene and makes sure that all new players feel welcome. In previous years we always have events on following matches, including the Fresher's Mixing Event, the Club Formal and the end of year Club Dinner. Queens’s has a family feel, where many first-years meet their closest friends at Uni resulting in many rugby houses come second and third year! Although the COVID-19 situation has disrupted many of our usual social events, planning is already in place to ensure that all players will still get to interact with the rest of the team in a COVID safe set-up, both on and off the pitch.
