Quiz lovers unite! The Queen’s Quiz Society is for people who love pub quizzes, gameshows and trivia. Show off all your inane general knowledge and lateral thinking skills in our variety of quiz nights, tournaments and special events.
Telequizion, our monthly quiz, is a homage to the world’s love of quiz shows. Each round is based on a different gameshow; some current, some classic, some international. The rules are ever-changing as teams face 7 different gameshows, they could be anything from Pointless to Only Connect to The Cube! The winners then choose a member of their team to take on the mystery final round in order to win an as-of-yet unknown fabulous prize (probably sourced from a charity shop)!
We also want you for quiz show teams! QQS will be entering teams and individuals to any and all gameshows, including Only Connect, Pointless, Eggheads and the all-mighty University Challenge. We will be helping and training up these teams to bring back (potential) honour and riches for Queen’s, so if you feel like winning a trophy or maybe thousands of pounds, why not consider joining?
As well as all this we have many more exciting events lined up such as trips to ‘Interuniversity Challenge’ Tournaments across the UK, casual games nights, the NI Heats for the Worldwide Hot 100 leagues, collaboration quizzes, testing new quiz formats, and a radio show!

Every year, Student Leaders are elected to represent the 25,000 students at Queen’s and to lead the Union. There are 34 roles available: 6 Full-Time Student Officers; 3 Undergraduate Faculty Representatives; 10 Student Association Chairpersons; and 15 Undergraduate School Representatives.
