IZWITNA aka, ( The Jordanian Society of QUB), is a student-led initiative. It is a warm, welcoming social-cultural, and educational platform for all students of different backgrounds to communicate, network, and feel like home here at QUB. One of the main goals of this society is to surround the Jordanian/ Arab students with a home-like environment and help them in interacting with the local community. The second important one is communicating and familiarizing our culture, traditions, and heritage to students of all nationalities and backgrounds, and the local community. Every year, Student Leaders are elected to represent the 25,000 students at Queen’s and to lead the Union. There are 34 roles available: 6 Full-Time Student Officers; 3 Undergraduate Faculty Representatives; 10 Student Association Chairpersons; and 15 Undergraduate School Representatives.
