About

Shalom! Here at Belfast JSoc, we aim to provide Jews a safe and friendly space to be Jewish on campus. We believe that there isn't one way to be Jewish and are inclusive of all Jewish people - no matter your denomination, whether or not you're secular, if you're new to exploring your Jewish identity and if you're a Jew of colour or are LGBTQ+.

At Queen's, we're a strong Jewish voice on campus and some things you can get involved with can include:

  • Friday Night Dinners
  • Celebrating our holidays
  • Holocaust awareness events
  • Jewish history education events
  • Fighting antisemitism on campus

Join us if you'd like to be part of Jewish life on the Queen's campus! You can keep up to date with all of our events on our Facebook page or by signing up to our mailing list. We also welcome non-Jews who are interested in respectfully learning about our culture, religion and history.
