About

We are the QUB chess club which organises both competitive and non-competitive chess games. We meet up regularly so check our Instagram page for details. We hold club-nights in the SU, every Wednesday from 7 to 9pm, and these act as informal meetups in which people can come along, play chess with whomever they wish, generally other random members, for as long as they wish to play. Members may drop in and out during the two hours whenever they please. All levels, from beginner to expert, are catered for and we can always find an opponent to match the member’s strength or teach new members the rules.
