About

We are one of over 100 Amnesty International UK student activist groups affiliated through the Student Action Network. We are a non-partisan organisation, open to people of different political persuasions who are interested in protecting human rights.

"It is better to light a candle than to curse the darkness."

Founded in 1961, Amnesty International is the largest human rights organisation in the world, with nearly 3 million members and supporters around the globe

We are a very active society at Queen's with a wide variety of events and activities from fundraising events to protests, there's also lots of opportunity to be involved in Amnesty on a national scale through Youth Conferences and Training.

Amnesty QUB is a fantastic way to meet likeminded people and help contribute to positive change in our society.

We have socials a plenty and lots of great things to be involved in too!
