QUB Alliance is a voice for liberal students at Queen’s. Together with Alliance Youth, we actively promote a liberal and shared society based on inclusion, diversity and tolerance in Northern Ireland.
Our members, through our executive committee, set the agenda on how we operate and which issues we tackle. Previous campaigns have included tackling racism, child poverty, and human trafficking, as well as specific domestic issues facing young people, such as mental health care, tuition fees, sustainable transport and LGBT+ rights.
We organise campaigns and events throughout the year in partnership with Alliance Youth, so there’s plenty to do. As well as tackling issues important to us, we also help our members to become involved in the main party and ensure that young peoples voices are heard within the party
Together we will build a more liberal, progressive type of politics in Northern Ireland - join us to help make it happen!

Every year, Student Leaders are elected to represent the 25,000 students at Queen’s and to lead the Union. There are 34 roles available: 6 Full-Time Student Officers; 3 Undergraduate Faculty Representatives; 10 Student Association Chairpersons; and 15 Undergraduate School Representatives.
