QUB African and Caribbean Medical Society was established in 2020. Our aims are:

  • To provide social, emotional, and academic support for medical students of African and Caribbean backgrounds

  • To create a platform to develop a professional network between graduates and current students of Queen's University

  • To increase the presence and to help African and Caribbean students aspire to medicine and the healthcare profession

Every year, Student Leaders are elected to represent the 25,000 students at Queen’s and to lead the Union. There are 34 roles available: 6 Full-Time Student Officers; 3 Undergraduate Faculty Representatives; 10 Student Association Chairpersons; and 15 Undergraduate School Representatives.
