The QUB Accounting Society is an academic society in Queen’s University Belfast for students of Accounting and Economics and Accounting. We as a group seek to organize events for these students to bring them closer together and interact throughout the academic year with their peers. This allows students to build relationships with those in their class and network with potential businesses. We liaise with all the Big 4 Accounting firms (EY, KPMG, PwC and Deloitte) to host events and bring students opportunities to get to know employers. This may lead to internships and possible job offers.
Our Society also enjoys linking up with other societies in the management school to host events which allows students from all different academic backgrounds to interact with each other and build relationships. QUB’s Accounting Society maintains strong links with the QUB Management Society as well as the QUB Actuary and Finance society and will be planning some events together over the course of the academic year.
The Society does not have a meeting time or a place we hold events throughout the year which will be advertised in class and on the Society Facebook page. Our events range from socializing events to sporting events in an aim to include all students across the board.
Keen on joining the Accounting Society, coming along to our events, or just finding out more? Sign up to our mailing list here and we'll be in touch!
