Paddlesports can be as extreme as you want!

In the pool we focus on basic skills and then progress onto learning to roll and canoe polo drills. Canoe polo is a fast paced sport that involves high speed tackles and lots of teamwork. As you progress and learn the basics, we run whitewater trips every few weeks to Shaws Bridge and bigger rivers further away. Adrenaline junkies love it as you get to test your combat rolls and get a taste for moving water. This year we are organising trips and competitions to:

  • Shaws Fest, Shaws Bridge | 09/10/23
  • Cristmas party | Dec 2023
  • Shaws Fest 2 | Easter 2024
  • ICUPS canoe polo competition | Apr 2024
  • Salt Island (overnight), Strangford Lough | May 2024
  • Club champs, Mullingar | July 2024
