Are you studying or are interested in engineering?

Run by international students for international students, we understand it is common for International students to feel isolated and alone in a new country without a community. The Queen’s University Belfast International Engineering Society (QUBIES) was established to support and encourage a more diverse engineering cohort at Queen’s University Belfast.

Community
Create long-lasting friendships in a diverse community of like-minded members, bringing can feel a sense of belonging even far away from home.

Academic Support
QUBIES is run by International students for international students. So in addition to running C.V. and interview classes, members are surrounded by others who can support them through their time in Queen’s

Industry Links
We’re the only society in Northern Ireland affiliated with the Women in Engineering Society (WES) and Engineers Ireland. This allows members to attend special industry events for your field of study and create networks with some of the U.K. top firms.
