About

QCS, or the Queen’s Computing Society, is an academic society which hosts a range of social and academic events aimed primarily at students within EEECS, particularly those within the Computing discipline, but open to all. Our social events include pub crawls, laser quest, regular games nights and, definitively our largest social event of the year, the annual EEECS Formal. Any excuse to eat pizza, have a drink (or two) and have a good time! Our academic events include hackathons, industry talks, networking opportunities, cross-school/society events and more! Anything that gives Students the chance to learn, develop, network and have a great time (and eat more pizza.)

This is only a few of the events we frequently host both academically and socially each year. We’re always coming up with and are open to new ideas and suggestions!

Join us today! Our members get some awesome discounts and benefits, including some great deals from local businesses, reduced event prices and more! Stop by our stalls at freshers and refreshers fair, or hit us up via our email address, qcs@qub.ac.uk, our Facebook page or on Twitter @QCSQUB to learn more. Also, be sure to follow our social media outlets to start getting information and updates from industry, info on the latest news and events and more!
