We train once a week at the Physical Education Center in Botanic Garden (5-7pm on Thursdays). No matter what background you have in the sport, even if this will be your first time taking up basketball, you will find our training sessions to be a great way to get your daily exercise, have some fun and make great friends in fellow teammates. For the more competitive players, a team will be selected to represent Queen’s in the Basketball Ireland Colleges league. We also take part in the yearly inter-varsities competition against other colleges and universities in Ireland which lasts 3 days.
Throughout the year the club organises a number of fundraiser events, in conjunction with other clubs of QUB. In the past, these have included a mixed 3v3 tournament, a poker night and a themed night out. Please like our Facebook page for further information on training times and do not hesitate to contact us if you have any queries! We look forward to meeting all you new recruits
